There are a few changes this week with cooling conditions by midweek, high elevation thunderstorms then rising temps for next weekend. We see the high start to weaken and allow a few areas of low pressure to affect the weather. This should only lower our temps a few degrees and take us to the low 90s upper 80s by Wednesday. There is a chance that we could pull up some moisture Tuesday and Wednesday and combined with the instability over higher terrain outside of the Valley we could see a few thunderstorms. These look high-based and dry which is a recipe for dry lightning but it is still early to see how this scenario will play out. By Thursday we see warming into the mid 90s and close to 100 for Friday and Saturday next weekend.
