Weather Plus Valley forecast | |
DAILY FORECASTWe are going to see some quick changes through the day on Monday. Rain and snow will move into Northern Arizona by Monday afternoon with the Valley seeing a chance for some early scattered showers by the afternoon as well. The snow level will start out near 6,500 ft and drop to 5,000 ft by Tuesday morning. As the strong storm moves in, there should be enough instability to see some isolated thunderstorms in the Valley and higher elevations near the Valley by Monday evening. The best chances for rain will take place later on Monday into Tuesday morning with fast clearing by Tuesday afternoon. Rain totals will range from 0.10-0.25" and some higher amounts for areas hit with a thunderstorm. Snow totals should be in the 4-8" range above 5,500 ft. and a few inches down to 5,000 ft. Travel in higher elevations will be impacted by the snow. I also see some potential for up to a foot of snow at the highest elevations if it all comes together. Tuesday evening we should be all wrapped up with the storm. Wednesday through next weekend we see dry conditions and warming temps into the mid 70s by the weekend. Rob Carlmark METRO PHOENIX FORECAST
