Severe storms pounded the Valley on Wednesday but the area of low pressure that brought the moisture is now moving away from the region. Thursday will bring drier sunnier skies and warm temperatures. Highs will range 93-98 degrees. After that it's all about the triple digits as high pressure takes over for the weekend.
