No major changes in the forecast as we look ahead to sunny and warm conditions for the rest of the weekend with a cold front on Monday. Sunday should be just as nice as Saturday with warm but pleasant weather and a high near 80. Monday we see a fast moving cold front bringing gusts to 60mph in NW Arizona and gusts up to 35 in the Valley. We also see a chance for a light shower in the higher terrain North and East of the Valley. It will be a stretch to see anything other than clouds in the Valley on Monday. Northern Arizona will have better chances to see some snow. Look for 3-5 inches in NW Arizona and 2-4 for the rest of the higher elevations. One interesting note about this storm is the snow level. We could see snow down to 3,000 ft in Northern Arizona and 3,500 ft. in the foothills near the Valley very early on Tuesday morning. I think this will be the most interesting part of the forecast other than the strong winds on Monday. After a high near 65 on Tuesday in the Valley we warm up to the 70s and stay there until next weekend.
